Bard of the Isles Magazine is currently open to submissions.

We pride ourselves on bringing you the best in short fiction and informative articles from the talented members of the British and Irish Writing Community and our friendly associates. We are always on the lookout for short stories and articles, so if you have a piece you would like to submit, this is the place to be.

Short fiction requirements
Up to 10,000 words of short fiction but preferably shorter (between 2000 - 5000).
Any genre, but preferably a form of speculative fiction (fantasy, horror, sci-fi) or contemporary fiction.
Word Doc only please, no PDFs.

Poetry
We are currently looking for poetry submissions.
No more than 3 poems may be submitted, all poems in one document.
Up to 50 lines per poem.
Any genre or theme will be considered.
Non-Fiction & article requirements
Articles and non-fiction up to 10,000 words but preferably shorter (as above).
Article subject can be on any topic concerning writing.
Word Doc only please, no PDFs.

We will make no alterations to the work’s text or title without the author’s approval. The magazine reserves the right to make minor copy-editing changes to conform the style of the text to its customary form and usage.
